OUR HISTORY

Goslings London Badminton Club traces its roots back to 1976, beginning as an informal gathering of gay swimmers at the Oasis Pool in High Holborn.

In 1985, the swimming club became independent, adopting the name "Goslings" (an acronym for Gay Outdoor Swimming London-ings).

In April 2012, the swimming division re-joined GOC, and Goslings transitioned to exclusively offering badminton activities.

Today, Goslings offers a vibrant and inclusive space for LGBTQIA+ players and allies of all abilities. With weekly sessions across London and exciting tournaments, we combine competitive badminton with a strong sense of community. Beyond the court, regular social events make Goslings a place to connect and have fun.
